“ Food was pretty good. You can't go wrong with their freshly baked bread served warm with butter! The pasta is homemade and delicious. We waited longer than we anticipated and longer than the hostess said it would be about but that was a good sign that the food is good. It was busy. When we received the text that our table was ready and we went back to the hostess counter. The hostess looked at us and said nothing. I said we received a text that the table was ready and then she brought us to our seats. Is it me or shouting the hostess greet guests not the other way around? ”

“ First of all, the service at Rosa's is excellent. You would be hard pressed to find better service. Eric was attentive and knew what he was doing. I had the lamb shank, and it was good, but I was disappointed with the sauce. Very runny and there were beans and pasta floating in it. Lamb was tender and had a good flavor. My wife had the Chicken Marsala, and she enjoyed it. Good flavor and the chicken was tender. We split a salad, and it was decent but not spectacular. I ended up using the olive oil and marsala on the table to church it up. I had to get the spumoni ice cream which was delicious!!!! My wife got the creme brulee which she loved. We will definitely be back. ”

“ Went to Rosa's last night on Valentine's day and was greeted friendly by all the hosts and staff! Service was fast even being super busy! Food was great!! My husband loved his chicken parmigiana and I ordered a pasta dish which was very delicious! I recommend coming in early to grab a table as it does get busy pretty fast! Overall, such a great place and we will definitely be back! ”

“ 1/26/25 Dinner with Family . Marcel was our waiter and was exceptional. He just had a newborn and said he not sleeping much lol but was Very attentive and took great care of us for the evening and was great. Every time we visit we come here and it's always good. Delicious warm bread and butter to start. Had the Spaghetti Marinara and a delicious Manhattan. For dessert had the Creme Brûlée my fav. All so delish. Everyone enjoyed their meal . Very nice clean ambiance with background music playing . Very enjoyable as always . Will be back when we visit again. Enjoy !!!! ”

“ Best food, best ambiance, so romantic, was the best date night with my husband! The hot, fresh white bread with butter is so so good at the beginning and I recommend getting Spumoni ice cream before leaving. The California pasta is so flavorful and creamy. The grilled shrimp are THE BEST I've ever had and I would get them on the Caesar salad every time. Rosa's is one of my favorite restaurants in the world and I can't wait to come back. ”

“ After a long day of surfing at Pismo Beach, we discovered Rosa's Italian Restaurant. We were famished and did not feel like dealing with the popular 'clam chowder' establishments where you wait in line for ages and have to eat on the street as there's no more seating! At Rosa's we were greeted by friendly staff who suggested dining on the covered patio as we had our pup with us. There was a wait time of 45 minutes, as it was a weekend night, in the height of the summer. They do not take reservations for parties under 6 people. We were seated on the beautiful patio, close to the fountain, and were offered water for us and our pup. Rosa's is definitely a fine dining venue, but you won't feel out of place in shorts and flip flops, as most of the customers are coming straight from the beach, as we were. They have a good selection of Italian wines. I chose a chianti. My daughter had a delicious Shirley Temple. Along with our drinks the freshly baked bread and Italian butter arrived. Delicious! We were famished from the ocean air so this was appreciated! We ordered Calzone and Half and Half, which is a ravioli/spaghetti plate topped with marinara sauce. Everything tasted amazing. The busser checked on us frequently, topping up our waters and bringing us more bread. For dessert we thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate mousse, a rich rum flavored light chocolate, smothered in whipped cream. Yummy! Throughout our meal, our server was attentive, checking on us and our pup who was busy socializing with the dog at the next table! We spent a wonderful evening at Rosa's, never felt rushed, and ended the night with leftovers and memorable photos of this beautiful establishment. ”

“ Food: 4.5. Came by on a Thursday evening for dinner. I was seated immediately and chose the patio. Restaurant was moderately busy. Complimentary bread was brought to my table. Butter and olive oil was on the table. Bread was warm and soft and very good. I wanted something like a cioppino and apparently that is a special on Wednesdays only. I ordered their Tutto Mare ($34) which appeared to be similar. Food was delivered timely and at the right temperature. Tutto Mare was delicious. The fish, scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams were cooked perfect. Not much of a fan of the dish with pasta. I would want more of the broth to soak up with the bread. Service was efficient but not friendly. Ambiance was very comfortable. I walked here so didn't have to deal with parking. Service: 3.5 Ambiance: 4.25 Value: 4 ”

“ Overall, Rosa's was a down to earth Italian place with good food and nice ambience, located a few blocks away from the main area where all the other restaurants/bars are. We went around 6pm on a Saturday night and luckily got the last open table... They give fresh bread piping hot which was a nice touch. They also have a kids menu which helps. The pizza was nothing special and a bit disappointing but the pastas were good. ”
